What: New girl is confused and needs to think.
Warnings: ...sarcasm? Water?

A demigod. Really. The daughter of a god, a Greek one no less, instead of her mama and papa - they'd always be that to her, of course, but her birth mother or father was something entirely beyond that.

It scared her, how believable it was. Her name, her powers as a magic knight, hell, her personal color scheme all matched up. She'd given it a passing thought before, but there was probably one trait in there that led to all the others, or else Emeraude had a thing for thematic appropriateness in desperate situations.

Nope.

Frowning to herself, she kicked a stone, blessed with not being bothered by anything the moment she got down there. Umi wasn't a brainiac, she couldn't even keep the Roman vs Greek names of gods straight, but she was named for the sea and commanded water. So did that make Poseidon/Neptune her father? There were more minor gods, and that felt more appropriate to her, but many of those came back to the big man in the sea.

On top of all of that... this was a place to train their children, and they'd gone missing. Heck of a safe place to drag a bunch of people new to the very idea of being demigods. Really, they could've just asked if she wanted to come help and she likely would have done so but what about others? They couldn't all be born warriors, right?

...it was too much to think of, and at some point she just plopped herself down on a log, shaking her head and trying to make it cooperate.
