[OTA] I've been pounding at the pavement...
Who? Nic here and OPEN
When? Tuesday throughout the day.
Where? At and around camp, several places.
What? Walking out of camp. Fighting monsters. Getting claimed. Winding up in the infirmary. Pissing off Chiron and Mr. D.
Warnings? n/a so far except for idiocy. Blood, if fighting does get threaded out.
[The first day, Nicolas Brown tried to walk out of camp, and was stopped by the camp director. A short while after that, he found out that whatever supposedly lurks out there wanting to kill them can only be killed with weapons made from specific material - far fetched, ridiculous, fair enough. And then they fessed up, once training started, that they've got a whole shed full of those?

Nicolas has taken the liberty to borrow a sword made of this Celestial Bronze. This, he'll take to the arena, first, for a few experimental swings and, if he's very lucky, he'll even find someone to knock around a bit. But that's not the point. The point is that at some point in the afternoon, he takes that sword, while his own sword is still at his hip, and marches up the hill towards the border of camp.
Somewhere halfway there, he ditches the necklace they gave him - no point in it for him. He's done with this place, as far as he's concerned.
And then he keeps walking.
Nobody stops him this time as he marches right over the crest of the hill.]
OPTIONS:
A: Try to chat him up before he goes on his little adventure. Maybe meet him in the arena for training?
B: Try to talk him out of it, or encourage him, or tag along as he attempts to leave.
C: Join the fight? There's monsters to go around. Maybe you're just concerned about a fellow camper getting himself killed? Or watch from a distance while Nic fights and watch him get claimed.
D: Visit him in the infirmary afterwards.
