He listened, surprisingly patient for all her hesitations. Her quiet demeanor was actually a bit refreshing and reminded him a little of Anew before she'd been mind-controlled into betraying Celestial Being by her twin and Ribbons.

He considered her words, glancing at a small stack of books he had selected for the time being. He hadn't wanted to create clutter by pulling too many from the shelves all at once.

"It would be helpful to learn a bit more about things here," which had been his goal all along, really. "I was hoping to find something about interdimensional transportation, which would have been what brought us here, if I am to understand the situation correctly. And then, from there, attempt to discover a way back."

Because, really, no offense to Ami, but he didn't want to be here. He didn't belong here. His home was back there, and he wanted to return to it.
