Normally lightning wasn't a thing that terrified Maya. The rain made her sad, but that was all. Naturally this lightning left Maya just a bit frightened. Not that Akihito was near the right mark, his lighting came down about five feet in front of Maya.

Which, in all honesty, was close enough for her to realize this game was not nearly as game-like as she thought. Maya went back into the underbrush and moved on. Deciding this was a fight she couldn't win like this. She'd take out anyone who tried to help the guy instead.
