He silently implored the gods to never take away his memories of Minako, since that seemed important to her. Understandably so, considering her responsibilities over all the other SEES members.
“He doesn’t seem to be hurt or anything… not that I’ve been able to check him for bullet wounds.” There was a long pause before he resumed with, “And… I don’t think he remembers you. But don’t blame him, please. He just… came back. Maybe that did something to his memory.” Not that it would explain why Akihiko himself couldn’t remember certain things.
